The modern society is so much dependent upon the use of electrical energy that it has become a part and partial of human life. Power failures are particularly critical at sites where the environment and public safety are at risk. When a power system is subjected to large disturbances control actions need to be taken to steer the system away from severe consequences. These disturbances often result in blackout of the system, which in turn causes huge losses in the system as well as monetary losses. There is a requirement of very high capital outlay but moderate risk involved with setting up of a Flexible Manufacturing System (FMS). The same is true while organising production using CNC, DNC and CIM. In today’s manufacturing world of JIT economic justification techniques are insufficient by themselves since they cannot cope with the benefits such as flexibility, improved quality, reliability and maintaining delivery schedules. Hence, a robust decision making procedure for evaluating Facilities Layout (FL) alternatives requires the consideration of both economic and strategic issues. A Distance-based Fuzzy Multi-Criteria Decision Making (DBFMCDM) framework based on the concepts of ideal and anti-ideal solutions is presented for the selection of best FL from a set of mutually exclusive alternatives. The proposed methodology provides the means for integrating the economic figures of merit with the strategic performance variables. The FMCDM approach presented here enables us to incorporate data in the forms of Linguistic Variable (LV)s, Triangular Fuzzy Number (TFN)s and crisp numbers into the evaluation process of FL alternatives. LVs are also used to indicate the criteria’s preference weights assigned by a group of decision-makers. A comprehensive example illustrates the application of this analysis.

Gas metal arc welding (GMAW) was a welding process in which an electric arc formed between a consumable wire electrode and the work piece metals which heated the work piece metals and caused them melted and also joined along with the wire electrode. A shielding gas feeded through the welding gun which shielded the process from contaminants in the air. Most common welding problems in gmaw were weld porosity, improper weld bead profile, lack of fusion, faulty wire delivery related to equipment set-up and maintenance. Friction stir welding (FSW) was a welding process where two metals were joined with the help of heat generated by rubbing the metals against each other. The friction stir welding was mostly used for joining aluminium alloys. The main defects occurred in this welding were holes, material flow rate. These defects were mainly caused due to improper selection of machining parameters. In this work steps are taken reduces the defects by selecting suitable machining parameters, comparing the welding techniques and selecting the suitable weld process for the preferred aluminium alloy. The base metal considered for this work AA2014, AA5083, AA6082.weld joints were similar joints. The experimental results were evaluated by DT (destructive test) and NDT (Non-destructive test).

Secured applications are stored in cloud computing, cloud service providers are given more secure storage, flexibility, and high efficient data retrieve from cloud. A growing number of data owners choose to outsource data files to the cloud. Because cloud storage servers are not fully trustworthy, nowadays technology are moving very fast and new technics updated regularly at the same time data owners always depends cloud computing environments for their outsourcing data files. Similarly hackers is hacking our data very smart in this reasonable most of the data owners not trustworthy cloud platforms. Frequently data owners check the possession for their files where they were given outsourced to remote cloud servers. We identified in this crucial problem and represent new techniques for remote data possession checking protocols. We introduce pro-efficient RDPC protocol belongs to homomorphic hash function. In this new approach is proof high efficient security against any attack. we can easily find the location of our files using Merkle Hash Tree and data owners can always checks their cloud data is secure or not. It supports dynamic transaction on file blocks. it reduces the computation and communication cost while between two or more file transactions and also it given reliable experiments result for any outsourcing real applications. Here another one more options are given third party can do verification many times comparison between user's data and originals data stored in the cloud.

Generally, testing fixture is device used to test the components of the product. Fixture is used as tools for positioning the components during quality checking by MPT process in dressing or finishing. In our project, we have given a change in the entire design and model of the fixture which is been used by the company. The design of fixture was made in such a way that it holds the components during MPT process with the help of the newly designed testing fixture. Here we are glad to take the task for reducing cycle time which in turn improves productivity & flexibility of an organization. Our objectives given by wheels India limited is to reduce cycle time after a long process of keen absorbing all problems & data gathered from machining shop of wheels India limited ,we found a solution for reducing cycle time.

This paper describes the how advanced verification like constrained random verification or directed tests which improves the system performance in FPGA level testing or hardware target level testing which outcomes safety analysis and performance based scenarios. Basically recent avionics industries facing while testing the hardware design using FPGA level mode of testing in to different feeded inputs, capturing with different techniques, which will improves the system verification on random based approach methods. Finally this paper tells about to improve the hardware design data (HDD) needs to trace the hardware requirement document (HRD) accurately using the randomization methods as carried out by constrained random verification.

Molasses is a byproduct of the sugar refining industry. A hundred tons of sugar cane will give 10-11 tons of sugar and 3-4 tons of molasses. There are thirteen sugar factories in Ethiopia and each factory produces molasses in the form of by-product. The objective of this research is investigating the effect of cane molasses on performance of the base bitumen. Sugar cane molasses is an organic waste material obtained from raw sugar during the refining process at sugar refineries. The effects of cane molasses percentage replacement on bitumen were examined by means of a various laboratory tests including PG (Performance Grade), RTFO (Rolling Thin-Film Oven). The study revealed that as percentage of molasses-A, molasses-B and molasses-C increases from 0 to 20%, 0 to 10% and 0 to 5%, the PG was improved by 28.12%, 15.79% and 8.57% respectively. The PG decreases by 36.87%, 28.38% and 12.76% and similarly, the ductility decreases by 21.36%, 6.79% and 5.83% for 15% molasses-A, 10%molasses-B and 10% molasses-C mixtures respectively. The cost analysis also signifies that, the cost of base bitumen improved by 17.4%, 8.93% and 2.35% for using molasses-A, molasses-B and molasses-C respectively. From this study, it was concluded that as per DSR performance testing machine, 20% molasses-A, 10% Molasses-B and 5% Molasses-C improves the performance of original bitumen with different rate.

The bituminous mix design aims to determine the proportion of bitumen, filler, fine aggregates, and coarse aggregates to produce a mix which is workable, strong, durable and economical. Bituminous materials are extensively used for roadway construction, primarily because of their excellent binding characteristics and water proofing properties and relatively low cost. Dense Bituminous Macadam is strong enough to handle years of vehicle traffic, and is relatively easy to repair or refinish. Present study focuses on the design of Dense Bituminous Macadam mix (Grade-II) prepared using Crumb Rubber modified binder (CRMB-55). The Marshall method of mix design was adopted to prepare mix and at optimum bitumen content, Marshall Properties and Indirect Tensile Strength (ITS) test were conducted on Dense Bituminous Macadam Mix at different mixing temperature by varying compaction temperatures. The Indirect Tensile Strength value has been considerably increased from mixing temperature 140°C to 160°C and as further increase in mixing temperature to 170°C there is a hasty reduction. The Fatigue test result shows the maximum number of fatigue cycles and higher resilient modulus value at optimum mixing temperature 160°C and compaction temperature 140°C.

Soil stabilisation is the process by which strength properties of soil can be improved with the use of adding some materials like Lime, NaOH, polypropylene etc. There is a rapid increase in waste quantity of plastic fiber materials, these waste plastic fiber materials are generally dumped or thrown, which may deteriorate the ecology and environment, because these are non-biodegradable fiber materials. Among these, one of the waste fiber materials are polypropylene fiber materials. In this present work polypropylene fiber has been used as ingredients for soil stabilization. The soil has been replaced by the polypropylene fiber in certain percentages and tests have been performed. The soil was replaced with varying proportions of polypropylene fiber to find out the optimum quantity of polypropylene fiber. From the experimental results, it has been found that various properties of the soil replaced with 1.0% of polypropylene fiber by weight of soil gives optimum results. The value of Unconfined Compressive Strength has increased from 3.24 kg/cm2 to 7.41 kg/cm2 which make clear that it can be used to bear higher loads. The value of MDD has also been increased but percentage of increment is low.

This paper encloses the advanced technology that can be adopted to an escalator to make it much efficient by using PLC. Today in the world of automation everything is getting automated. To make life more comfortable PLC plays a major role in the field of automation. This project “Innovative technique for safety function of escalator with power generation facility using PLC” is designed to operate the escalator with the maximum level of safety. A new approach of persons bending angle deviation and minimum height detection is implemented by the use of PIR/IR sensor. Using inductive and capacitive proximity sensors together a new proximity sensor named indo-capo sensor is used for detecting the metallic and non metallic objects found in the escalator. On moving to power generation concepts, most developing countries needs a million tonnes of sources of energy. They demand on power generation, power storage ,and in power consumption. To meet the demand a conversation of unused forms of energy can be considered as renewable sources of energy in all fields of technology. Taking this in to account, electricity is produced from the rotation of escalator motor gives a wide path of renewable source of energy. With the above technique safe and sophisticated journey in escalator can be implemented with power storage perception.
