Based on constructs drawn from the TAM and UTAUT models, as well as trust in the technology and trust in the tax authority, the study explains the adoption of E-invoice in business organisations and compliance behaviour. Participants. The total number of participants was 468. Students and data were analysed through SPSS, reliability and correlation, and Regression. Perceived usefulness, ease of use, social influence and trust were found to be strong drivers of adoption and consequently compliance intentions. In addition, the cross-national variations contribute to the differing contextual effectiveness of digital tax education. Santelices Author-Workplace-Name: Catanduanes State University, College of Engineering and Architecture Title: A Students’ Perspective on Cybersecurity Awareness and Education Abstract: The increasing reliance on digital technologies in education has heightened students’ exposure to cybersecurity risks, prompting the need for proactive interventions to strengthen awareness and education. This study investigated the cybersecurity awareness and education of Catanduanes State University (CatSU) students, focusing on their demographic profile in terms of gender, academic year level, and internet access devices, while also examining the relationship between education and awareness. Using a quantitative research design, a stratified random sample of 386 students was surveyed through a structured questionnaire adapted from established research instruments, measured on a 5-point Likert scale. Descriptive and inferential statistics were employed to analyze the data, with findings showing generally high levels of cybersecurity awareness and education among students. Results revealed that second-year students displayed stronger awareness compared to other levels, while laptop users exhibited greater familiarity with protective practices, reflecting the role of device use in shaping online security behavior. Gender differences were minimal but suggested the need to boost technical confidence and consistent practice across groups. Correlation analysis confirmed a strong positive relationship (r = 0.670, p < 0.01) between cybersecurity education and awareness, emphasizing the impact of structured learning on students’ protective behaviors. The study concludes that effective and practical cybersecurity education programs—integrated into the curriculum through workshops, simulations, and real-world applications—are essential in equipping students with the knowledge and skills to recognize, mitigate, and respond to cyberthreats. These findings have significant implications for higher education institutions, underscoring the importance of fostering a cyber-resilient culture that prepares students to navigate the complexities of today’s interconnected digital environment securely and responsibly. This study assessed the experiences of nursing students during their psychiatric clinical practicum and examined how they bridge the gap between theory and practice in the development of professional competence. Guided by a qualitative descriptive design, the study involved 200 Level IV Bachelor of Science in Nursing students from a higher education institution in the Philippines who had completed their psychiatric clinical practicum. Data were collected through self-administered questionnaires and focus group discussions, and analyzed using Braun and Clarke’s thematic approach. Three major themes emerged: (1) Emotional Transition and Adjustment, characterized by initial anxiety, fear, and gradual emotional resilience; (2) Bridging the Theory–Practice Divide, emphasizing the struggle and eventual adaptation in applying classroom knowledge to real-world psychiatric care; and (3) Professional Identity Formation, which reflected the transformation of students’ self-concept through therapeutic communication, empathy, and reflective practice. These findings underscore the importance of structured orientation, supportive supervision, and reflective debriefing in facilitating a smooth transition from classroom to clinical environment. The study also recommends incorporating digital learning tools, such as virtual simulations and e-mentorship platforms, to enhance clinical readiness, especially when exposure opportunities are limited. Despite being conducted in a single institution, the study provides valuable insights into the contextual realities of psychiatric nursing education and highlights the need for multi-institutional and longitudinal follow-up research to evaluate the long-term effects of practicum experiences on professional development and retention in mental health practice. This study explores the adoption rates and impact of generative AI across diverse cultural contexts, focusing on Bangalore. This research aims to investigate how generative AI is being adopted and understood in collaborative learning environments across cultures, specifically those drawing comparisons to Bangalore. The specific aims of this study are to compare the uptake of generative AI in the cooperative learning environment in Bangalore with other parts of the world, to analyze the demands and inhibitions making generative AI be adopted in different cultural and technical contexts, and to study in brief the ethical challenges faced from using generative AI in collaborative learning, including bias, privacy, and equity. This module was designed based on three phases: needs analysis, design and development, and usability evaluation. However, this study focuses only on the module’s validity in the design and development phase. A total of nine experienced Arabic language teachers, each with over ten years of teaching experience, served as expert validators for the module’s validity. The module was assessed based on content, presentation, reinforcement and evaluation, language and grammar, briefing and illustrations, as well as the values embedded in the module. The expert evaluation results indicated that the alternative Arabic language module for Year Four, Five, and Six met the outlined criteria and achieved high agreement scores of 84.78%, 83.30%, and 90.08%, respectively. In conclusion, this module is suitable for assisting teachers and students in effectively teaching and learning the Arabic language. The implication is that using this module has the potential to enhance teaching and learning effectiveness as well as students' motivation towards learning Arabic. The researcher’s suggestion for future studies is to conduct an empirical study on the usability and effectiveness of the alternative Arabic language module for level two by analyzing students' performance data, teacher feedback, and pre-and post-module tests for continuous improvement. Badeo Author-Workplace-Name: Eastern Visayas State University-Main Campus, Tacloban City, Leyte, Philippine Title: Exploring the Motivations of First-Year Students in Enrolling Environmental Science at Eastern Visayas State University, Tacloban City Abstract: Motivation is a crucial psychological construct that directs, energizes, and sustains human behavior. It influences individuals’ choices, effort, and persistence toward goal attainment. This study examined the motivational factors influencing first-year students’ decision to enroll in the Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science (BSES) program at Eastern Visayas State University–Main Campus to provide insights in developing responsive curriculum and enhancing student support mechanisms. A mixed-method design employing a descriptive survey approach was utilized, with purposive sampling to identify the participants. Data were collected by means of a researcher-developed questionnaire administered via Google Forms. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyze the numerical data while thematic analysis was used for the non-numerical data. Findings revealed that the majority of respondents were 18 years old, female, and mostly graduates of the Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) strand. More than half indicated that BSES was their first choice. Across all demographic groups, personal values emerged as the highest-rated motivational dimension, reflecting strong intrinsic motivation anchored in environmental concern, sustainability principles, and personal beliefs. Qualitative data reinforced these results, highlighting themes of passion, curiosity, and self-fulfillment. Conversely, social influence received low mean scores, suggesting limited effect of peers, family, or teachers on students’ enrollment decisions. Statistical analyses revealed no significant differences in motivation by age, course preference, or enrollment status. However, significant variations were observed in personal values by gender (t = 2.19, p = 0.02) and academic strand (F = 3.21, p = 0.02), and in social influence by student status (t = 2.44, p = 0.01). These findings suggest that gender and prior educational exposure play key roles in shaping students’ intrinsic motivation toward environmental science education. A quasi-experimental pre-test/post-test control group design was used with 20 children aged 6–9 years, recruited from special education centers. The experimental group received a training program focusing on four conceptual domains: human body, environmental concepts, living vs. non-living, and health and nutrition. Data were analyzed using paired t-tests, independent t-tests, effect size estimation, and the Friedman test. Results demonstrated significant improvements in the experimental group across all domains, with large effect sizes, while the control group showed no significant changes. Training session evaluations revealed consistent engagement across all observed skills. These findings support the integration of structured, evidence-based programs in special education settings to improve conceptual learning in children with intellectual disabilities.
