It is a visual representation of the relationship between independent and dependent variables. In this study, the
independent variables were digital technologies; Artificial Intelligence, Cognitive Technology, Data Analytics
and Robotic Process Automation while dependent variable were the effectiveness of internal audit function in
commercial banks. The study sought to establish the impact the independent variable has on the dependent
variable and whether there is a relationship among the variables.
