Dr. Nihar Ranjan Mohapatra holds Ph.D. degree from IIT Bombay. After graduation he worked at IBM India, Pune as Associate System Engineer. He is Associate Professor in Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar earlier he was Member of Technical Staff, Global Foundries Dresden Germany and Sr. Technology and Integration Engineer Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) Dresden Germany, his research interest is Nano-scale devices physics, device & circuit interaction in advanced devices, reliability of semiconductor devices, Compact Modeling, Computational Lithography and Analog IC Design.
