Abstract
Self-efficacy is an essential attribute that enables nurses to perform their professional roles confidently and effectively while maintaining quality patient care in increasingly demanding healthcare environments. Although perceived social support and organizational justice have been recognized as factors associated with nurses workplace experiences, evidence regarding their relationship with self-efficacy remains limited, particularly among community-based nurses. This study determined the relationship of perceived social support and organizational justice with self-efficacy among nurses. A descriptive-correlational research design was employed involving 118 nurses. Standardized questionnaires were used to measure perceived social support, organizational justice, and self-efficacy. Data were analyzed using frequency, mean, standard deviation, and Pearson's correlation coefficient. The findings revealed that nurses demonstrated high levels of perceived social support, organizational justice, and self-efficacy. However, no significant relationship was found between perceived social support and self-efficacy, and no significant relationship was likewise found between organizational justice and self-efficacy. The findings suggest that nurses professional confidence is maintained independently of perceived social support and organizational justice. Based on the results, a Nursing Self-Efficacy Sustenance Plan was developed to sustain nurses professional confidence through continuous competency development, supportive workplace practices, and organizational initiatives. The study contributes to nursing management by providing evidence that may guide workforce development strategies aimed at sustaining nurses competence and confidence in practice.
