Abstract
This study assessed the impact of Human Resources for Health (HRH) with special focus on nurses and midwives on the use of contemporary family planning (FP) among mothers in Allen, Northern Samar. A convergent mixed methods design guided by Donabedian’s (2005) Quality of Care Framework was used. Quantitative data were acquired using structured survey questionnaires from 300 mothers and qualitative data were collected using semi-structured interviews and focus group discussions with chosen moms and healthcare providers.
