Abstract

This study aims to design and implement a Near-Field Communication (NFC) Loyalty Program integrated with Marketing Analytics to address the inefficiencies of traditional customer loyalty systems in the retail industry. The problem identified was the lack of automation, real-time tracking, and actionable insights in current loyalty programs, which limits understanding of customer purchase behavior. Using a developmental research approach, the study involved system development using NFC technology for customer transactions implemented on a Raffle System. Evaluation was conducted through system testing and end-user feedback from retail employees and customers. Results demonstrated improved loyalty scoring and ranking, data-driven marketing decisions, and opportunities to increase customer satisfaction. The system’s analytics dashboard provided real-time insights into purchasing patterns, helping retailers tailor promotional strategies. The study concludes that NFC-based loyalty programs enhance operational efficiency and customer engagement. It recommends broader implementation in the retail sector, along with future improvements in system scalability and user experience design.
