Abstract
This study examines the effect of the inflationary dynamics observed in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) between 2018 and 2022 on the financial ratios of the Trust Merchant Bank (TMB), one of the country's largest commercial banks. The research is motivated by the structural volatility of the Congolese economy, characterized by recurrent inflation, exchange rate instability, and a high level of dollarization, which directly exposes banks to risks affecting profitability, liquidity, and solvency.
