Abstract

Background: Drug abuse among youths remains a significant global and regional public health challenge, contributing to rising morbidity, mortality, and socioeconomic disruption. In Cameroon, reports indicate that a substantial proportion of young people have experimented with hard drugs, yet localized data describing knowledge, causes, and effects of drug abuse among youths in coastal communities such as Bota Land, Limbe, remain limited.
