Abstract
This study aimed to explore the struggles, challenges, coping experiences, and life realizations of patients with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) undergoing hemodialysis in San Carlos City, Pangasinan. A qualitative phenomenological research design was employed to gain an in-depth understanding of the lived experiences of patients undergoing hemodialysis. Ten (10) dialysis patients participated in the study. The participants were selected through non-probability purposive sampling based on the established inclusion criteria and their direct experience with hemodialysis. Data were collected through individual, in-depth interviews and continued until data saturation was achieved.
