Abstract
Digital trading platforms significantly drive retail stock market participation by lowering cost barriers, removing geographic restrictions and streamlining user interfaces. This study examines the transformative role of digital trading platforms in reshaping stock market participation and empowering a new generation of retail investors. Historically, stock market engagement was constrained by high transaction fees, steep account minimums and complex administrative process. Ultimately, digital trading platforms act as a powerful catalyst for financial inclusion, though sustained market stability depends on balanced regulatory oversight and improved investor literacy.
