Abstract
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming Human Resource Management (HRM) across industries, particularly in emerging economies like India. This paper explores the integration of AI into HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and employee engagement. Drawing from recent academic literature and real-world case studies of Indian organizations like Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Infosys, the study highlights how AI enhances efficiency, enables data-driven decision-making, and improves employee experiences.
The research also examines challenges such as algorithmic bias, ethical concerns, and workforce displacement. The findings suggest that while AI significantly strengthens HR capabilities, its success depends on ethical implementation and a balanced human-AI collaboration model. This paper contributes to academic discourse by offering a structured framework and practical insights for organizations adopting AI-driven HRM in India.
