Key words: Reframing and Organisational effectiveness

I. INTRODUCTION

The environment in which businesses operate the world over has undergone radical changes in recent times. In fact, companies that once enjoyed easy command over their rivals and dominated their markets now find themselves engaged in raging battles to re-establish their previous dominance and regain their former market share (Warui et al., 2015). The mere survival of many firms is at stake and the greatest challenge for such institutions is how to ensure their survival in a competitive environment which has been exacerbated by the faster-changing global market and hypercompetitive global market environment (Hanson, Hitt, Ireland & Hoskisson, 2016). The desire to promote and attain effectiveness in terms of performance constitutes a challenge to almost all companies the world over (Appelbaum, Bailey, Berg and Kalleberg, 2000). Thus, concentration of this study however is on how organisational effectiveness can be attained through reframing. Reframing is about unblocking, reshaping and preparing the business mind so that a new vision and resolution can be infused in it (Talwaret al., 2015) and organisational effectiveness is the level to which the goals of the organisation and its employees are met in terms of performance (Aguinis, 2019).
