Abstract

Farm-to-Fork agro-rural tourism, which is a combination of farm production, farm-based tourism and local and regional food traditions, provides an opportunity for farmapreneurs to diversify the enterprise activities through tourism. However, farmapreneurs are expected to handle a number of operational, human resource, marketing, supply chain and financial issues in a farm-to-fork agro-rural tourism firm. The present study was undertaken to learn the perception of farmapreneurs about the Farm-to-Fork agro-rural tourism in the context of development, particularly with respect to its adoption, motivation and challenges faced and support required for its implementation.
