Abstract

This consultation program was implemented to increase the level of resilience, emotional well-being and work-life balance among uniformed bodies, especially the Royal Malaysian Air Force. This program involved 30 participants from various units in the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RUAF). Through a psychoeducational approach that included talks, interactive activities, and sharing sessions, this program was able to evaluate the effectiveness of the program using a questionnaire. The questionnaire included pre-tests and post-tests to change the level of knowledge, awareness and confidence of the participants. The study findings showed an increase in mean scores for all aspects after the program was carried out. For the resilience aspect, participants showed an increase in stress management, emotional control and confidence in facing work challenges. In terms of well-being in the workplace, participants better understood the importance of mental well-being, emotional management and social support. In addition, the work-life balance aspect also showed an increase in awareness of the importance of time management, rest and balance between work demands and personal life. Overall, this program successfully increased the participants' knowledge, awareness and confidence in psychological well-being and showed the potential to be used as a model for psychoeducational interventions in organizations, especially in uniformed bodies.
