The Effect of Project Planning Practices on Stakeholder Satisfaction in Ikorodu Local Government Area, Lagos State.

The study examined the effect of project planning practices on stakeholder satisfaction in primary school building projects in Ikorodu local government area, Lagos State. Descriptive survey research design was adopted for the study. It was discovered that project scope management affects stakeholders’ satisfaction in primary school building projects within the Ikorodu Local Government Area (LGA) of Lagos State significantly (R2 = 0.642, F(1,106) = 40.58, βCL = 0.8018, t = 3.564, p < 0.05) and that project quality management impacts stakeholders’ satisfaction in primary school building projects within the Ikorodu Local Government Area (LGA) of Lagos significantly (R2 = 0.578, F1,106 = 33.04, β = 0.7618, t = 17.564, p < 0.05). Based on the findings, the study therefore recommended that development project planning processes should be strengthened by ensuring clear communication, stakeholder engagement, and alignment with stakeholders' needs and expectations. It also recommended that collaborative partnership among government agencies, NGOs, community groups, and other stakeholders should be fostered to leverage resources and expertise for effective project implementation.
