Abstract
Background: Current state-level information on the licensed private healthcare sector is needed for regulatory planning, workforce monitoring, and assessment of geographic concentration. This study described the growth, licensed bed capacity, medical workforce, nursing workforce, and geographic distribution of licensed private healthcare facilities and services in Sarawak, Malaysia.
