Abstract

This descriptive-correlational study investigated the relationship between the learning environment, the availability of learning materials, and the academic performance of students in General Mathematics among 191 Grade 11 students at a public school in Negros Island Region for school year 2025-2026. Findings revealed a good learning environment and great availability of learning materials, while the students' academic performance reached a very satisfactory level. Correlation analysis indicated a significant relationship between the learning environment and academic performance, but no significant relationship between learning material availability and academic performance. These results suggest that while physical and instructional materials are adequate, the quality of the learning environment plays a more direct role in relation to mathematical grades in this context. The researcher recommends targeting noise mitigation to improve classroom focus and further optimizing environmental factors to help elevate student performance from the "Very Satisfactory" level into the "Outstanding" bracket.
