Abstract

Marital satisfaction is a crucial aspect of interpersonal relationships, significantly influencing the emotional and psychological well-being of married individuals. This study examined the levels of marital satisfaction among married individuals in Ngando Location, Nairobi County, Kenya. The study employed descriptive research design with a sample size of 140 participants. The data was collected using demographic characteristics and the ENRICH Marital Satisfaction (EMS) with SPSS. The results showed 35.0% of participants indicated low satisfaction, 59.7% indicated moderate satisfaction, and only 5.3% indicated high satisfaction. The study recommends that couples and their community (cultural, religious, social) engage in marriage enrichment programs such as counselling services, and support groups.
