Abstract
Strengthening digital literacy, especially among young people, is crucial, given the widespread use of digital devices in all aspects of life. In the workplace, the use of digital technology has revolutionized work and how people perform their tasks. Digital devices and robotics have replaced many traditional manual tasks. The 2020 World Economic Forum report revealed that the use of digital devices in various occupations has increased over the past decade. Digital devices and robotics have replaced many manual tasks. The use of digital devices in various work activities has been shown to increase resource efficiency. This study has shown that, to face a world dominated by digital devices, improving digital literacy is crucial, especially among young people, who are key actors in the future workforce. Therefore, it is recommended that learning activities at various levels of education focus more on strengthening digital literacy so that future generations are better prepared to face the challenges of the future job market.
