Abstract
This study investigated the influence of green adoption practices and technological integration on the service quality of hotels in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental. The study evaluated green practices, technology integration and service quality across environmental, social, economic, detection, engagement, agility, continuity, customer-service dimensions. A quantitative research design utilizing descriptive-comparative and correlational approaches was employed. The respondents consisted of 120 hotel personnel and 191 hotel guests selected through stratified proportional allocation sampling. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, comparative tests, correlation analysis, and regression. Findings revealed that hotel personnel perceived green adoption practices and technological integration to a very high extent across all dimensions. Similarly, hotel guests rated technological integration as very high and service quality as very high overall, with tangibility receiving a high rating. Significant differences in perceptions were observed across selected demographic variables among both employees and guests. Correlation analysis revealed a strong positive relationship between green adoption practices and technological integration, indicating that hotels with stronger sustainability initiatives also tend to demonstrate greater use and integration of technology in their operations and services. Regression findings showed both significantly influenced service quality, with green adoption practices serving as the stronger predictor of hotel performance. The findings emphasize the importance of integrating environmentally responsible practices and appropriate technological innovations in improving hotel operations and the overall guest experience. Sustainability and technology enhance hotel quality, efficiency, satisfaction, and competitiveness. The study further provides valuable insights for hotel managers and industry stakeholders in developing strategies that strengthen sustainable operations, technological capabilities, and service delivery. Overall, the results highlight the significant role of green adoption practices and technological integration in supporting the continued improvement and competitiveness of hotels in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental.
