Abstract

Character Education is at the heart of a free and appropriate public education. Hence, this study ascertained the relationship between the level of teachers’ implementation of character education when grouped according to their profile. The descriptive-correlation method of research was used in this study as it is the most appropriate and applicable method to answer the specific problems. The Likert point scale was used to collect data from private elementary teachers in Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya as respondents. Descriptive statistical techniques such as frequency, percentage, and weighted mean were used to determine the distribution of the respondents’ profile, and the level of teachers’ implementation of character education. To established a significant relationship between the variables, the T-test and Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) was used. Results of the study shows that almost of the statements rated as strongly agree by the respondents, these show that the private schools in Bayombong are implementing character education as part of their school curricula. Further, committees and school plans are inclined with their character educations’ goal
