Abstract
This study examined teachers’ evaluation of the Bank of Topics initiative through interviews with six secondary education teachers. Based on the interviews conducted, the shortcomings of the Bank of Exam Topics appear to stem from broader weaknesses in the Greek educational system. Traditionally, the Greek educational system has been highly centralized, granting limited autonomy to teachers and involving them only to a small extent in key issues related to the educational process. Therefore, it is necessary to implement policies for the reform of the Bank of Exam Topics that take into account teachers’ perspectives in the implementation of this policy.
